These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TrialCatcher™ platform operated by RidePride LLC d/b/a TrialCatcher™ ("TrialCatcher," "we"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Communications & Consent Policy.
1. What TrialCatcher Is
TrialCatcher™ is a community platform and directory that helps people discover clinical research studies and helps clinics manage recruitment. We are not a healthcare provider, we do not conduct clinical trials, and we do not provide medical advice. Decisions about participating in any study are between you and the clinic or research site conducting it.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account;
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure;
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Study Directory & Applications
Study listings are provided for information. Eligibility for any study is determined by the clinic or sponsor, not by us. When you apply to a study, your application information is shared with the clinic conducting it, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not guarantee enrollment, eligibility, or any outcome.
4. Community Engagement & SocialComps™
The platform may offer a community engagement program ("SocialComps™") under which members may earn compensation for genuine platform engagement and for referring new members who become active on the platform. Compensation is for platform membership and engagement — not for any person applying to, enrolling in, or participating in a clinical study. Submitting a study application earns no engagement compensation. Program eligibility, scoring, and payout terms are governed by separate program rules, which may change. You are responsible for any taxes on compensation you receive.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse the platform, submit false information, or create fraudulent accounts or referrals;
- Do not post unlawful, harmful, infringing, or misleading content;
- Do not attempt to access, copy, reverse engineer, or interfere with the platform or its systems;
- Do not use the platform to provide medical advice or to solicit study participants outside the platform's features.
6. Intellectual Property
The platform, including all software, design, database architecture, and the TrialCatcher™, DreamCatchers™, and SocialComps™ marks, is owned by RidePride LLC and protected by intellectual property law, including pending patent and trademark protection. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the platform for its intended purpose. Content you post grants us a license to display and operate it on the platform.
7. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT STUDY LISTINGS ARE COMPLETE OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT YOU WILL QUALIFY FOR OR BENEFIT FROM ANY STUDY. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF ANY CLINIC, SPONSOR, OR RESEARCH SITE.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRIALCATCHER AND RIDEPRIDE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY STUDY.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RidePride LLC and its affiliates from claims arising out of your misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for any lawful reason. You may close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless a separate arbitration agreement applies.
12. Changes & Contact
