This research study is for adults 18 to 65 with moderate to severe eczema (atopic dermatitis) that creams and ointments have not controlled well enough. It tests an investigational medicine compared with a placebo. A study team will check if you may be able to join.
This Phase 2b trial recruits adults whose moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis has not responded adequately to topical treatments. If you've used eczema creams or ointments for at least 4 weeks without sufficient relief, or your doctor advises they're unsafe for you, you may qualify. Study sites span Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Estero, and Fort Myers Beach. A research team will evaluate your eligibility and explain the investigational medicine being tested. Compensation available for qualified participants.

Who can join this eczema study?

Can I join if I have HIV, hepatitis B or C, or tuberculosis?
These conditions may affect eligibility. The study team will review your medical history confidentially during screening to determine if participation is safe for you.
Can I join if I've had a recent vaccine or infection?
A live vaccine in the past 6 weeks, or an infection treated with antibiotic, antiviral or antifungal medicine by mouth or injection in the past 2 weeks, may affect eligibility. Tell the study team about any recent vaccines or infections.
What if I'm pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant?
People who are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to get pregnant can't take part in this study. The study team can answer questions about this during screening.
How long is this study and how many visits will I need?
Study duration and visit frequency will be reviewed during screening and explained in detail before you consent. The study team will provide a clear schedule.
