- Are you between 12 and 35 years old?
- Were you diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes within the last 6 months?
- Are you currently taking insulin for your diabetes?
- Do you weigh more than 35 kg (77 pounds)?
- Have you had tuberculosis or a positive TB test?
- Do you have hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or HIV?
- Do you have any autoimmune disease or immune disorder other than Type 1 Diabetes?
- Have you had significant heart disease in the past 12 months?
- Do you have a history of cancer other than skin cancer?
- Are you allergic to any components of the study medication?
