1. Who can join this study?

Adults aged 18 to 75 years with a diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) may qualify, especially if they’ve had at least 3 depressive episodes in their lifetime.

What stage of depression do I need to be in?

You must currently be in remission from depression, for no more than 6 weeks, as determined by your doctor at the screening visit.

Are there any requirements related to my current treatment?

Yes, you must be on a stable, standard-of-care depression treatment at the time of your first visit, and continue with that same treatment throughout the trial.

How severe should my symptoms be?

Your depression severity scores must fall within the study’s remission criteria, meaning a MADRS score of 14 or lower and a CGI-S score of 3 or less.

Are there weight or health requirements?

Yes, your body mass index (BMI) must be 22 or higher to participate.

What else is expected of me during the study?

You’ll be asked to attend regular study visits, complete assessments, and maintain your current depression treatment while the study medication is evaluated.
