Enrolling now Ages 18–85 Naples, FL Mood & mental wellbeing 0 views · 0 saved

If depression medication isn't working or you've tried multiple antidepressants without relief, you may qualify for our major depressive disorder clinical trial testing an investigational approach. We're enrolling adults 18–85 across Southwest Florida.

If your current antidepressant isn't working well enough—or you've tried multiple depression medications without adequate relief—you may qualify for one of our clinical trials evaluating investigational treatment approaches for major depressive disorder. We're enrolling adults 18–85 across Naples, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, and Bonita Springs. Our research team will assess your eligibility and explain what study participation involves.

Frequently asked questions

from Studies Enrolling Now
Can I join if I already take an antidepressant?

Some studies are for people who take an antidepressant, and others ask people to stop certain medicines first. Do not stop or change any medicine on your own. Tell the study team what you take, and they will go over it with you.

Can I join if I have bipolar disorder or psychosis?

Some studies do not include people with schizophrenia, psychosis or bipolar disorder. The study team will go over your health history with you during screening.

What if I have a history of substance or alcohol use?

Some studies have rules about substance or alcohol use. The research team will discuss your history with you during screening.

What age range does this study accept?

Adults 18 to 85 can apply. Each study has its own age range, with upper limits from 64 to 85, and some also ask how old you were when your depression first started. The study team checks this during screening.

What if I'm having thoughts of suicide?

If you are in crisis now, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or go to the nearest emergency room. Some studies have rules about this, and the study team asks about it privately during screening.
